"Velvet Underworld" Es el titulo del opening de la serie animada Weiß de 1998, Weiß Kruez (Knight Hunters) TV series. Ambas series son esfuerzo creativo de Takehito Koyasu, conocido como el mejor seiyuu de animacion(ie: Mosquiton, Zechs Marquise in Gundam Wing, Ilpalazzo in Excel Saga). Esta serie aun no sale al aire es un proyecto activo aun.

El diseño de personajes esta a cargo de Kuya Sakaki.Production por RADIX mobanimation, Wedge Holdings. Director Koichi Kikuchi.Planeacion y Produccion por Velvet Kingdom. La imagen de la cancion corrio por cuenta de Shiu Kagaya.Titulo de la cancion "ALTERNATIVE" Realizacion y Composicion de Kazuya Nishioka.
Este anime estara dirigido principalmente a la audiencia femenina que se encuentra en edad madura.

La historia tiene lugar en Tokio, Uruyu Tomoe es un nuevo detective el cual resultó gravemente herido tras investigar en un dificil caso. Sobrevivio gracias a ser rescatado por una misteriosa niña llamada Velvet, ademas de recuperarse milagrosamente. Tras el accidente le efectuaron una operación en la mano izquierda reemplazadola con una artificial. Sin embargo la memoria de su pasado antes de la fecha de su incidente sigue siendo confusa. Fue despojado de todo y los nombres de trece asesinos que lo atacaron fueron grabadas en su piel en ese momento. Tomoe es reclutado como un asesino para Velvet y ademas que le asignan como nombre de código "Aya" nombre de un legendario asesino. Él jura venganza, y comienza la búsqueda de los trece asesinos, uno por uno va encontrandolos, en un esfuerzo por llegar a encontrar al cabecilla. Velvet, alias V, es la nieta de la superintendente general de la Policía Metropolitana de Tokio contrata a los criminales (que tienen excelentes habilidades) y los mantiene en la clandestinidad, a fin de ejecutar y eliminar a los criminales que han salido impunemente estan sueltos gracias a que han burlado el sistema judicial y que se encuentra lejos la posibilidad de ser detenidos. Ahora hay 13 soldados que han sido entrenados como asesinos incluido Aya. Él organiza su equipo dependiendo de la situación, a veces teniendo una persona y, a veces, los 13. En sus misiones cada uno utiliza su propias técnicas de artes marciales.


General Findings:

The title to the first opening theme which was "Velvet Underworld" by Weiß of 1998's Weiß Kruez (Knight Hunters) TV series. As it turns out, both are the creative effort of Takehito Koyasu, best known as a highly prolific anime seiyuu (ie: Mosquiton, Zechs Marquise in Gundam Wing, Ilpalazzo in Excel Saga). His official title is "editor" and credited with conceiving the original story on the VU project, which at this point remains unformatted (ie: TV, Movie etc..), being referred to simply as "animation" and "multimedia". Character designs come courtesy Kuya Sakaki, production via RADIX mobanimation, Wedge Holdings. The producer is listed as Koichi Kikuchi, Planning and production are being carried out by Velvet Kingdom. An image song titled "ALTERNATIVE" has already been created, Shiu Kagaya, composed by Kazuya Nishioka and performed by The Man himself. The target audience at this point for the anime are women in their late 20's.

The story occurs in Tokyo, Uruyu Tomoe is a new fresh detective who was seriously injured after becoming involved in a messy affair. The mysterious girl named Velvet rescued him and he survived, miraculously recovering. In an operation his left hand was replaced with an artificial one. His past memory before the time of his incident remains hazy. He was robbed of everything and the names of thirteen murderers who attacked him were engraved in his skin at that time. Tomoe is recruited as an underworld executioner by Velvet and inherited the legendary assassin's code name, Aya. He swears vengeance, seeking out the thirteen murderers one by one in an effort to bring out the ringleader. Velvet, alias V, who is the granddaughter of the superintendant general of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police recruits criminals (who have excellent abilities) to the underworld in order to have them execute outrageous villains cut loose by the court system and who are beyond the realm of arrest. Now there are 13 troops who have been retrained as underworld executioners including Aya. He organizes his the team depending on the situation, sometimes taking one person and sometimes all 13. The sides lock in battle, each utilizing their own secret martial arts fighting techniques
